Manufactured by IWACHU, a family owned workshop based in Morioka, Japan is this cast iron teapot that's both beautiful and functional. For more than 100 years they have been manufacturing beautiful cast objects here.
If you love tea then this is the teapot for you. Known for their craftsmanship and strict quality control, only the best teapots leave the IWACHU factory.
The surface of this teapot is decorated with the famous Seigaiha Japanese wave design. This traditional representation of the sea was already used in the 6th century: it symbolises tranquillity and good luck.
Please note: These are shipped from our studio in the UK, but may require a 1-2 week lead time. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher. Never put directly over a flame. Clean only with water.
