In Morioka, Japan resides IWACHU, a family run workshop who have been producing ironware for more than 100 years.

IWACHU'S speciality are cast iron teapots, using more than 60 processes to produce an object of timeless quality.

By incorporating handicraft in to their method of production, as well as updating and incorporating new design, they have been able to craft some of the most outstanding ironware in Japan.
