A beautiful wooden bowl by the Kihachi studio, the oldest producer of wood products in the Yamanaka region of Japan. These are hand turned on an electric wheel out of natural oak, a technique Kihachi's craftsmen have mastered over six generations.
The most noticeable element are the fantastic markings on the surface of the bowl, both inside and out. These are naturally occurring and make each bowl unique. The perfect, thin walls make them easy to hold and beautiful on the eye, definitely a vessel to cherish. Treated with a urethane coating to protect the wood.
Please note: Takes approximately 2-3 weeks to be produced. Each bowl is individual and has distinct markings due to grain of the wood and them being a handmade product.
