Kashiwan Bowl Y Type
A beautiful wooden oak bowl handmade by the Kihachi studio in Yamanaka, Japan. Kihachi are one of the oldest producers of wooden products in Japan and make these by turning them by hand on an electric wheel, a technique Kihachi's craftsmen have mastered over six generations.
The most noticeable element are the fantastic markings on the surface of the bowl, both inside and out. These are naturally occurring and make each bowl unique. The thin walls make them easy to hold and beautiful on the eye, certainly a vessel worth cherishing. These bowls are treated with a urethane coating to protect the wood.
Please note: Takes approximately 2-3 weeks to be produced. Each bowl is individual and has distinct markings due to grain of the wood and them being a handmade product.
Approx Dimensions: 11cm Diameter x 7.5cm Height. Takes approximately 2-3 weeks to be produced. Ships from Japan.
