A white ceramic chopstick rest handcrafted by artist Miki Furusho at her studio near Tokyo.
Furusho carefully combines a plain Shigaraki clay with a clay dug by hand from the Izu Peninsula in Japan to create a layered pattern that links to the ancient craft of pottery, also holding a contemporary calm that comes through thanks to the simplicity in her design.
It's sure to look striking on any dinner table.
