Handcrafted in Japan and designed by Japanese studio wa/ter are these glass stones called Sekimori. These stones bounded with rope are usually found in the passages of Japanese gardens and temples, signalling a boundary from entering and exiting and are a common tool divide the space in a pleasing way.

These are from wa/ter's 'Re-use - Recycling' series that transforms ordinary objects and converts them in to beautiful design objects for the home. The glass series in-particular uses recycled Japanese CRT TV screens that are then melted down and re-hardened to create this wonderful colour.
