Youji Case

A toothpick case handmade in Nagano, Japan by Studio KUKU. Owned by Kyoko Tani, who has used her experience of crafting made-to-order furniture in to a selection of small objects produced with functionality and beauty in mind.

The Youji case, meaning toothpick in Japanese, is a small wooden container made from walnut and the sliding lid from ebony. It also feature a brass pin so the magnetic closure can function properly. This closure slides back and forward smoothly so you can get to your toothpicks easily. A real work of art that can be carried around with you on a daily basis.
