Wide Pigment Bowl

by Mark Robinson

A stoneware bowl made by Mark Robinson on the pottery wheel at his studio in the UK. This vessel has been made from stoneware clay that's been mixed with a blue pigment to create a subtle swirl effect on the interior and exterior of the pot.

After making on the wheel and firing the piece in the kiln a glaze is applied to the interior and outer of the bowl, making for a simple piece in a contemporary matte colour with hints of blue, yellow and green running throughout.
