White Porcelain Oval Plate

A porcelain plate that has been handmade by Japanese artist Maiko Wakasugi at her studio called Studio Bwanji in Tokyo. Maiko's speciality is making vessels on the pottery wheel using a translucent white porcelain clay and a transparent glaze that's matte in appearance.
This particular piece has been made with the edges slightly raised, so would be perfect for dishes with sauce as a base such as pasta or curry. Stack them up and enjoy meals on this beautiful white canvas.
