Yasha Butler is a ceramic artist and sculptor who is passionate about showcasing the beauty residing in the everyday. Currently based in County Wicklow, just south of Dublin, here she has found peace in the surrounding nature and crafts diligently on her rock like forms that mimic many of the tones, textures and silhouettes found outside.

Her goal is to create elegant and organic pieces that are minimal but still full of meaning and have a sense of poetry. The hand techniques that she uses create a textural quality and warmth that's difficult to imitate. Archaic and rustic with all the best of qualities of a handmade object.
