Teak Chopstick Rest

by Eiji Hagiwara

A handcrafted chopstick rest made from teak by Japanese woodworker Eiji Hagiwara. Treated with oil to protect the wood, the top surface is slightly cut-in using a chisel to give grip to the rest.

A simple piece, but this is a great functional object to coincide with our Pine or Teak Chopsticks, which are also handmade by Eiji Hagiwara at his studio in Sayama, Saitama Prefecture.
