Small Buna Square Tray

by Dairoku

A special dish handmade in Aomori Prefecture in Japan by woodworker Kentaro Ooyu. This plate is ideal for sharing and serving food on the table and has been made out of a Japanese beech wood.

The form looks very natural and has lots of character, which is helped by the shiny but smooth lacquer coating. On the bottom of the dish you'll find the name 'Buna' inscribed, Japanese for the type of wood used to make this beautiful piece of functional art.
