A small oak chopstick rest by Japanese woodworker Maiko Okuno, handmade at her studio in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. As a lacquer artist most of her works have a lacquer coating, but these are unique as they've been left with the wood showing in all it's beauty.

Made from the wood of a Japanese Oak tree, these small wooden plates would make perfect chopsticks rests. On the bottom you will see Maiko Okuno's trademark stamp.
