The chocolate pedestal is a special piece of design made for the dinner table. Using the high thermal conductivity of metal, Japanese design studio 86400 has produced this small rest that can either cool or warm chocolate.
Place the pedestal in the freezer overnight and put a piece of chocolate on top to stop it from melting. You can also use hot water making it easier for the chocolate to melt.
For everyday use, wash with a neutral detergent. The colour will darken with time. To restore the original shine gently polish with baking soda or vinegar.
