Shu Urushi Spoon

by Atelier tree song

A beautiful and unique spoon by Japanese craftsman Taisuke Hirabayashi, the maker at workshop Atelier tree song. These have been precisely cut to shape with hand tools at his studio in Tokyo, once finished and dried a lacquer solution is then applied to protect them.

Not only are these well crafted, they're also fully functional and can be used for a variety of foods. The wood itself is walnut, so they will certainly stand the test of time. The Shu urushi is a red lacquer finish that is added after.

This is for one spoon only.
