Crafted in the Japanese city of Ota in Gunma Prefecture is this large plate by potter Shunsuke Kobayashi of Kobayashi Pottery Studio.
After making on the pottery wheel this form has been trimmed to craft a unique angular shape. Once fired the matte appearance comes through and speckles come to the surface of the glaze to make each one unique.
