Architect Alberto Satoris assembled a remarkable photography collection of modern architecture which was originally published in part in two anthologies, one named Gli Elementi delléarchitettura funzionale and the other léEncyclope die de léarchitecture nouvelle. These photographs documented the architectural works of many greats including Walter Gropius and Oscar Niemeyer, and was photographed by the best specialists of their period such as Arthur Koster and Julius Shulman.

This specific book titled "Photography, Modern Architecture and Design – The Alberto Sartoris Collection" presents and analyses the collection, it also illustrates his activity as a collector and editor.
