Medium Natural Square Tray

by Dairoku

A natural dish handmade in Aomori Prefecture in Japan by woodworker Kentaro Ooyu. This tray is ideal for sharing and serving food on the table, and is made out of a light beech wood called Buna.

The form looks very natural and has lots of character, which is helped by the light coating applied to the surface of this piece. On the bottom of the dish you'll find "Buna" inscribed, noting the type of wood used for this beautiful, functional piece of art.
