A dinner spoon handmade by Keiichi Sakai at his studio in Gifu prefecture from cherry wood. Each piece is carved by hand and all the small markings can be seen where the knife has touched the surface of the spoon.
Not only is the colour unique, a deep orange colour, the grain in the wood makes this not only functional but also a piece of art that can be used on a daily basis.
