Handcrafted by Toshifumi Momose are these beautiful dishes made from Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) that are turned on his lathe surrounded by the beautiful mountainous landscape in the countryside of Shizuoka in Japan.

Working in collaboration with contemporary designer Keita Hanazawa they have produced this series that takes striking modernist form and mixes it with handicraft to produce a series that harnesses all the best attributes of working directly with a natural material.
