Hibi Kuro Katakuchi

by Shinobu Hashimoto

A beautiful bowl that's been handmade at Japanese potter Shinobu Hashimoto's studio in Hokkaido, Japan. The bowl has a nice flowing form, which also features a small spout on one end to help with pouring liquids (such as sake).

Well-known for his unique style of decoration, the crackle effect shows through leaving a gold colour beneath the black body. To contrast you have a shiny interior that reflects the light quite beautifully. A real one of a kind object.

Please note: These are all made by hand so slightly differ in size and surface pattern.

Approx Measurements: 12.2cm Diameter, 7cm Height
