Hibi Kesho Katakuchi

by Shinobu Hashimoto

A beautiful bowl that's strikingly elegant by Japanese potter Shinobu Hashimoto. This piece in-particular has a rounded top edge that curves in from the main body. This is aesthetically pleasing, but also serves to guide the water or liquid towards the pouring spout.

Well-known for his unique style of glazing, this piece has a crackled effect on the surface and offers a twist on your everyday contemporary white glaze. Ultimately referencing back to the origins of the material itself.

Note: These are made by hand so each one may differ slightly from the photo, they all have their own character.
