Grey Blue Chawan

by Mark Robinson

A stoneware tea bowl made by Mark Robinson on the pottery wheel at his studio in Cambridgeshire, UK. This bowl is simple in form and rises outwards from the bottom and then straightens up.

After making on the wheel and firing the piece in the kiln a glaze is applied to the surface of the bowl, making for an understated object in a contemporary blue with hints of grey running throughout.

Note: If out of stock they may take 1-2 weeks to arrive. These are made by hand so each one may differ slightly from the photo, they all have their own character.
