A cup handcrafted from semi-porcelain clay by Japanese ceramic artist Makoto Saito at his studio in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. The glaze on the surface is matte in appearance and been applied with a sponge to create these unique textures, specifically in this case light and dark green is coming through and has a silk feel in the hand.

This would be great for drinking from at the dinner table or showcasing as an art piece on the sideboard. A contemporary form that will definitely stand the test of time.
