A unique and quirky object made in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Handmade by well-respected lacquer craftsman Maiko Okuno, this chopstick rest has been shaped to mimic a pebble, linking the natural qualities of both the wood and the lacquer in the vision of the object itself.
The brown coloured urushi protects these wooden objects and will ensure that, with care, it will get better with age, standing the test of time and offering value to our lives.
