A simple saucer in black by Japanese potter Naotsugu Yoshida. Living at the foothills of Mt.Fuji, his vessels are often inspired by this beautiful landscape, where he hopes to ebb and flow with nature itself. These tendencies can be seen in the pot as he overlooks the changing weather and passes the time watching the mountain located on Honshu Island.
Naotsugu makes black and white vessels, which are often a juxtaposition as they reflect light off one another, both generating quite a unique atmosphere. This could be seen as a dialogue with the surrounding area itself.
Note: These are made by hand so each one may differ slightly from the photo, they all have their own character.Approx Measurements: 14cm diameter x 1.5cm height
