A black lacquer teaspoon handcrafted by Japanese craftsman Hiroyuki Sugawara. Hiroyuki creates wooden tools for daily life, working out of his studio named 'greenlight' in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture.
This form is first cut and then shaped completely by hand. These spoons are nice and elegant so they sit perfectly in the hand and can be used with ease. The lacquer gives the spoon a protective layer.
