A spoon handmade from brass by talented Japanese craftsman Takeo Suhara. Based in the Osaka Prefecture of Minoh, he shapes these using simple tools at his workshop and looks to create functional works that will stand the test of time.
This spoon is titled "Sukkara", which roughly translates to "flat" in Japanese, named mainly thanks to the shallow shape of the scoop. Although this object has been hammered and shaped by hand the perfection is something to admire. This could be used to eat on a daily basis and would look beautiful on the dinner table.
