A handcrafted pouring vessel by Japanese woodworker Yusuke Tazawa. This lacquered vessel is truly beautiful, a wooden base is then treated using the 'Makiji method' that's slightly brown in tone. The outside layer has been covered with a crude "urushi" lacquer and the powder of a sharpening stone to create a rough surface texture that captures the light in unique ways.

The pouring vessel is the perfect accompaniment to some smaller sake cups and is sure to sit perfectly in any home. This vessel is a real work of functional art.
