Blue Segmented Dish

A blue segmented dish handmade by Yumiko Yasufuku at her studio in Gifu, Japan. This piece is made from a stoneware clay with a blue glaze, due to the glazing method it has a rustic appearance and when held in the hand it has a textured feel to it.

Alongside the functional and handmade element, this dish has a nice thin form and take cues from nature itself. This piece is an object to be used for small portions of food and cherished for a long time.
