Triowood

Natsumi Mori is a woodworker based in Kobe, Japan. Her inspiration derives from her long time interest in Architectural statics. This principle has been embedded in her working style and gives the final objects great character.

The design process starts from careful observation of each piece of wood. Since the wood has its own unique colour tone, pattern and depth, Natsumi uses these elements as an indication of where to start when crafting these objects. She elaborately designs these beautiful objects that obtain a delicate and sophisticated presence over time.
