The Okumidori blend is known for its delicate taste and deep green colour. This is one of the higher level of Sencha teas grown in the tea town of Wazuka in Kyoto, with the farmers taking particular care when tending it this variety.
Okumidori ticks all the boxes. Sweetness, Umami (fifth category of taste) and bitterness are all present in high amounts. For experienced green tea lovers this is the perfect tea as the natural taste from the leaves is highlighted from the first time you drink.
