A set of 5 building blocks by Nara-based Japanese design studio A4 owned by designer Daimon Kanno. Developed to produce a sense of balance and creativity, each set is handcrafted in Yoshino, Japan using cedar and cypress wood.

The blocks are carefully chamfered to different sizes and shapes so that they can be stacked as a sculpture or be used as toys for play. The colour is applied using a natural paint so as to have a minimalist appearance.

Please note: Each piece is handmade in Japan and may require a lead time if out of stock (usually 2-4 weeks production time). May differ slightly from the photos seen here as they are all custom made.
