Thin Brass Dish

by Naho Kamada

A thin dish crafted from brass by talented Japanese maker Naho Kamada. Based in Kumamoto Prefecture, she shapes these at her workshop using simple tools, hoping to make objects that people can use on a daily basis and that will stand the test of time.

This particular plate is simple in appearance but has a sloping edge which helps to keep things on top of it. The simplicity in this piece is quite breathtaking and it's great to see all the markings from the maker running across the surface, the plate also features small dots running around the rim of this plate.

Please note: These are one of a kind and feature slightly different markings on each version. Also, these will patina with age.
