White Long Plate
by Miki Furusho
A slender plate handcrafted by ceramic artist Miki Furusho at her studio near Tokyo.
Furusho carefully combines a plain Shigaraki clay with a clay dug by hand from the Izu Peninsula in Japan to create a layered pattern that links to the ancient craft of pottery, also holding a contemporary calm that comes through thanks to the simplicity in her design.
Use this plate to serve cheese, sushi, or smaller portions of food. It's sure to look striking in any space.
