Blue Pigment Bowl S
An impressive bright blue bowl by Japanese potter Keiichi Tanaka at his studio in Kawagoe, a city located just outside Tokyo. This bowl is perfect as a breakfast bowl or to eat smaller portions of food.
He achieves this stunning blue surface colour by applying a glaze and firing at 1200°C. Keiichi then applies other pigments and fires them again at a much lower temperature. This is certainly a quirky piece that is sure to turn a few heads.
