Japanese artist Junpei Ori hand paints these abstract artworks at his studio based in Tokyo. He uses a mixture of collage and acrylic paint to depict interesting still-life abstractions full of character and charm.
Some of the imagery highlights modernist icons' work, such as Alvar Aalto's furniture, others are more simple in nature and showcase interior scenes that have a whimsical feel thanks to the incorporation of bold colours set against open space. Junpei's goal is to eliminate the essential and showcase what's truly essential.
