Jesús Perea

Born in Madrid in 1971, artist Jesús Perea has honed in on a graphical style using limited edition Giclee Prints as his main canvas. Many of his works are printed using pigments instead of dyes (among other differences to normal prints), playing with a combination of colour, pattern and structure to build blocky, architectural shapes to express his ideas.

As well as enjoying the contrast between the colours themselves, especially primary colours as they are the basic colours that make up the spectrum, Perea references past and modern in his wonderful selection of art.
