Manufactured by IWACHU, a family owned workshop based in Morioka, Japan is this cast iron teapot that's both beautiful and functional. For more than 100 years they have been manufacturing beautiful cast objects here.

The surface of this particular teapot has been decorated with the classical Arare design. Delicate and elegant, the design represents hail, "Arare" in Japanese, that's made to highlight the change of season between winter and spring.

Just place your tea in the provided tea strainer, pour the hot water over and this pot will keep your tea warm for an extended period of time.
