Handcrafted in Japan and designed by Japanese studio wa/ter are these glass bookends that feature a glossy top and frosted bottom side to add friction to sandwich larger books together.

These are from wa/ter's 'Re-use - Recycling' series that transforms ordinary objects and converts them in to beautiful design objects for the home. The glass series in-particular uses recycled Japanese CRT TV screens that are then melted down and re-hardened to create this calm Yellow Green colour.
