Daniele De Batté

Daniele De Batté experiments with both drawing, painting and sculpture and how these all work in combination. Many of the themes revolve around the module, working with the idea of balancing positive and negative space. Interestingly, he tends to experiment with monotone colour, lending itself to the idea of "empty space".

Trained as a graphic designer, Daniele approaches these in a graphical sense and considers mathematical and grid systems when he designs each piece. For this reason he's able to produce sculpture and artwork that's harmonious but striking on the eye.
