Japanese ceramic studio Nankei specialise in the production of these beautiful coffee cups. These are made from an iron rich clay body.

The clay is the reason Nankei are able to produce such a mug without an exterior glaze, naturally turning black during the firing and offering a smooth surface with only tiny irregularities.

Inside features a white, cloudy glaze that offers a nice contract to the natural clay exterior. Drink from this coffee cup on a daily basis. It's sure to stand the test of time.
