A pure copper tray made by hand at the WATO studio in Japan. This series is based on the image of a new moon by treating the surface with sulphur to create a pure copper black. What makes this distinct is the gold leaf sprinkled around the edges to complement anything placed on top.
For everyday use, you can wash these pieces with a neutral detergent. The colour will become darker as it ages.
Please note: These are shipped directly from the maker's studio in Japan. If not careful the surface of this piece may be scratched when objects are placed on top of it. Each is made by hand and may feature small markings from the making process. All have their own character.
