Tumi-isi Recycled Cork Stacking Blocks Plain
In collaboration with TOKYO CORK PROJECT Japanese design studio A4 have made use of recycled corks from old wine bottles. The collected corks are washed one by one and then crushed, compressed and solidified to make these stunning stacking blocks.
One block uses anywhere between 5 to 10 wine corks. The unique grip of the cork makes it slightly more difficult to balance but they have an elasticity that makes them light and very soft. Most importantly they are an efficient use of resources to help save the planet.
Please note: Each piece is handmade in Japan and may require a lead time if out of stock (usually 2-4 weeks production time). May differ slightly from the photos seen here as each set is custom made.
Approx Dimensions: Each block is between 40mm-150mm Square (31 blocks included one extra large block). Recycled Wine Cork. Made in Japan. Shipping from Japan.
